Miss Donna began taking dance lessons when she was 4 years old. Throughout her years of dancing, she has attended numerous workshops and participated in countless regional and national dance competitions. Although Miss Donna enjoyed her many years of performing, her passion to teach led her to pursue a degree in education. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Health and Physical Education, she moved to North Carolina and taught children in grades K-5.
In one of the more impoverished elementary schools, she started an after school dance program. This gave her students an opportunity to experience the joy of dancing without the burden of expense on the parents. During this time, she continued to take classes and enrich her knowledge of dance. After moving back to Pittsburgh, Miss Donna secured a full time job in the insurance industry and continued to teach at a local studio.
In 1998, after many years of hard work, she opened the doors to her own dance school. Working a full time job, she is able to understand and respect the hectic life families have and strives to maintain a professional environment and strong customer focused philosophy.
Using principles learned from her education at Pitt along with countless years of teaching, she is able to enrich her students with a love and appreciation for the art of dance.
